Starting from 12th May, phone orders for prescriptions will no longer be available, although you can order repeat prescriptions via the NHS App. The NHS App lets you view your health record, order repeat prescriptions, and access a variety of other healthcare services via your smartphone or computer/tablet.
In order to access these online services, you must create an NHS online account and verify your identity to get full access.
You will need to access your email address, have a mobile phone and photographic ID.
Accepted ID: passport and driving licence. You cannot use travel cards or bus passes.
You can prove who you are without photo ID by registering for online access with your GP Practice.
